The German Shepherd is the active participant in the VR system.  When your laser turns green as you are pointing to dogs, that is the dog you can select for the training.

When training your virtual reality dog, pay close attention to the movie screen that lets you know what to do next.  Don't apply a correction until the screen tells you to.  The purpose is to build muscle memory in you so that there is a pause between the marker (yes/no) and the reward or correction.  be patient!  The system has a 3 second delay between the marker and the reward/correction.  In reality you have 1.3 seconds.  As you practice a slow and methodical use of markers, you will be able to flawlessly increase the speed to 1.3 seconds with your real dog.  This will help you create Adaptive Reliability™ in your dog.  The more you practice here, the less chance you have of messing up your dog.

If your microphone stops working, simply exit the program and restart.  The Meta VR platform is constantly updated and we apply the new SDK's (software development kits) as fast as possible.  Some glitches may occur between the Meta updates, New headset adaptation and old headset back support as well as Top Tier K9 updates as our updates must go through Meta's approval process.

The system is designed for you to learn how to move through the Top Tier K9 Command Sequence shown below.  This system is intended to be used by clients of our certified dog trainers around the world.  You should be practicing with this program while we are training your dog.

It is all about timing, consistency and motivation when training a dog.  You must apply pressure to build a dog's load, the earlier in training the less pressure, later in training, like protection training, you increase the pressure when the dog is ready.

Load = Pressure + Conflict.  Pressure builds the load and the dog makes a decision to avoid the pressure; that is conflict resolution.  When the dog makes the right decision you reward it when he makes the wrong decision you correct it with a leash pop on the pinch collar.

It is that simple and is displayed in the flowchart to the left.  Practice the sequence and memorize the flow.  This is the best way to ensure you don't make mistakes with a real dog.  Practice, Practice, Practice!!!  Build Adaptive Reliability™
